CLASS PROJECTS - Internet GIS and Mapping
CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY
DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY
FALL 2004
The student project listed below was the work of CCSU geography graduate students in the fall of 2004.
Aaron Nash - using county level election data for
the 2004 presidential election, this is an interactive ArcIMS map of Bush-Kerry
voting patterns. Usually portrayed on a state basis and with simply red or
blue states, this map uses finer level county data and a dichromatic color
scheme to show nine gradations of color from blue through purples to red.

Fred Agee - this web site was prepared for the Alumni Affairs and Development Office who wanted an interactive map they could use to find out how many alumni there are in a given five digit zip code. They use this map for determining potential turnout for alumni events held around the United States.
