Atlas Exercise # 3 - Note: In addition to using your 20th edition of Goode's World Atlas for this activity, you will need access to the Internet and a search engine.  I used Google for the exercise and include the keyword used in each question.  If you do not have Internet access at home and do not have a CCSU computer account, you will have go to the MicroComputer lab in Marcus White Annex.  If you can get Internet access, http://pipeline.ccsu.edu has a link at the bottom "To activate your computer account or to reset your password, please visit https://accounts.ccsu.edu/wacctmgt" that will take you to a page to create an account for you.

This is a tour of cities of the region.  Your plane lands in Moscow but there are three airports that serve this large city, Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and  Domedovo plus one general aviation airport, Bykovo.  Which one serves most of the international flights  (Google Keywords: airport moscow russia international) and which one is the one marked on the map on p. 186?

You are adventurous and want to use the subway to transfer to Domededovo  airport in the SE of the region. It is short 50 cent bus ride to the  Aeroport subway station on the Zamosvoretskaya line. [http://www.gotoru.com/images/mmap.gif] You technically can take this line  directly to  Domededovo airport (the subway stop you are eventually headed for is DOMODEDOVSKAYA) but the airport recommends you switch to the Circular Line at Byelorusski Voskal and take that line to 3. _______________________ where you will switch back to the Zamosvoretskaya line to get to the Domodedovskaya Metro station where a shuttle bus takes you to the airport.
