Personal
Born September 30, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Raised in Saudi Arabia and New Orleans and educated principally in Tampa, Florida, graduating from Jesuit High School in 1973. Musician, freelance writer and entrepreneur in the tourism and entertainment industry until returning to academe in 1993. Married in 1993.
